How Wira Bumi courses are structured
Written readings
Each week's material is delivered as a reading — prose-led, with worked examples and reflection prompts built in. There are no video lectures; reading remains the primary medium.
Discussion threads
Optional threads for each module allow learners to raise questions or share observations. The teaching team responds within two working days. Participation is never compulsory.
Reflection exercises
Short exercises at the close of each reading ask learners to apply what they have read to their own situation. These are private — there is nothing to submit or be graded on.
Course 01
Returning to Financial Literacy
A short, welcoming programme for Malaysian learners in their 40s who wish to return to financial study after years away from anything resembling formal learning. It makes no assumptions about prior reading, and works through a sensible sequence of personal finance fundamentals at a gentle pace.
Each session is short and paired with an optional discussion thread for learners who want to ask questions without hurry. A printed reading companion is included with enrolment.

An intermediate programme on the honest, calculated cost of common Malaysian household loans — mortgages, car loans, personal loans, and revolving credit card balances. The tone is explanatory rather than alarmist, with worked examples throughout.
Learners leave with a clear understanding of what their existing loans are actually costing them, and the knowledge to evaluate any new borrowing calmly.

Course 03
Building Quiet Wealth in Mid-Life
A longer, thoughtfully structured programme for Malaysian learners in their 40s and 50s who wish to build household wealth steadily and without drama. The programme is comprehensive — covering saving, investing, portfolio management, and the quieter practices of good stewardship.
The course closes with each learner writing a simple, durable household wealth policy. This document is then reviewed by a licensed financial planner, who provides written feedback — not product recommendations, but a considered reading of your stated plan.

- Asset allocation — what it is and how to think about it for your situation
- How well-constructed portfolios behave over long periods
