NA

Nor Azlin M.

Petaling Jaya · Course 01

"I had avoided looking at my finances properly for years — I kept telling myself I would do it later. This course was the first time someone explained things without making me feel behind."

March 2025

TK

Tan Kheng Fong

Georgetown, Penang · Course 02

"I finally understand what my bank means by flat rate. I have had that car loan for three years without properly grasping how the interest accumulates. The course was clear and, more importantly, honest."

Salmah Razak

Kota Kinabalu, Sabah · Course 01

"The printed companion was a thoughtful touch. I read it at my kitchen table on weekend mornings. The pace was just right — I never felt rushed, which is not something I can say about most online courses."

January 2025

RK

Rajesh Kumar

Shah Alam · Course 03

"The wealth policy exercise at the end was genuinely useful — not just as a document, but as a process. Writing it forced me to articulate things I had never quite said out loud about what I actually want for my household."

April 2025

LY

Low Yoke Ping

Johor Bahru · Course 02

"My husband and I had been putting off dealing with our mortgage refinancing question for two years. This course gave me the vocabulary and the calculation method to look at it clearly. We have since made a decision we feel calm about."

March 2025

ZA

Zainab Aziz

Kuala Lumpur · Course 03

"What I liked most was that nothing was oversimplified. The course took me seriously. It did not assume I could not handle complexity — it just presented that complexity in an orderly way."

Case Studies

Three learner journeys

These summaries represent the kinds of changes learners have described in their feedback. Names have been changed; details are representative.

The Starting Point

A civil servant in Ipoh, age 47

Faridah had managed her household for twenty years without ever properly reviewing her insurance policies or EPF allocation. She described herself as "financially anxious but financially avoidant."

The Course

Faridah completed Course 01 over six weeks, pausing twice when work was demanding. She read the printed companion during her lunch breaks and used the discussion thread to ask about her specific Takaful policy structure.

What Changed

By the end, she had reviewed and updated two insurance policies, started a dedicated savings account, and enrolled in Course 02. In her feedback she wrote: "I am no longer afraid to open the envelope."

The Starting Point

A small business owner in Kuching, age 52

Michael had multiple loans — a commercial property mortgage, a vehicle loan, and a personal loan he had taken during the pandemic. He had no clear picture of the total cost or the order in which to address them.

The Course

He chose Course 02 and worked through the module on reducing-balance rates three times before he felt confident. He built a spreadsheet using the worked examples from the course material and calculated his own total repayment figure for the first time.

What Changed

With a clear picture of his debt structure, he was able to prioritise early settlement of the personal loan, reducing his monthly outgoings by RM 680. He described the process as "replacing anxiety with arithmetic."

The Starting Point

A married couple in Kuala Lumpur, ages 44 and 46

Priya and her husband had never had a formal conversation about their long-term financial goals. They had savings but no shared framework for decisions about investment, property, or retirement timing.

The Course

Both enrolled in Course 03 and read the modules together on Sunday evenings. The spousal discussion module was, in their words, "the most valuable hour we have spent on money in twenty years of marriage."

What Changed

They completed the household wealth policy as a joint document. The licensed planner's feedback gave them three specific clarifications to consider. They described the overall experience as having "a map where before there was only a rough direction."
